Job summary

L7Commerce is seeking a highly experienced Java developer to design and implement robust, scalable applications. Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years in IT, deep Java expertise (Java 8+), and strong knowledge of OO design, multithreading, streams, lambdas, and CompletableFuture.

You will work with Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA, and cloud-native patterns. The role emphasizes TDD, CI/CD, OpenAPI, and microservices, with hands-on work on Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java with deep knowledge of OO design and modern Java features.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and complexity analysis.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, REST, JPA, and cloud-native deployment.
• Experience with TDD, unit/integration testing (JUnit, Mockito).
• Knowledge of microservices, OpenAPI, messaging, databases, caching, and cloud ecosystems.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC, and Git workflows.
• Familiarity with frontend tech: Angular/React/JS/TS and security best practices (OWASP Top 10).

Job description

Highly proficient in object‑oriented programming in Java with a minimum of 10 years of IT experience. Comfortable with Java 8+ features and advanced Java concepts such as multi‑threading, streams, lambdas, functional interfaces, comparators, exception handling, and CompletableFuture.

Required Skills

• Articulate design patterns, principles, and their application in real‑world projects.
• Understand and analyze time‑ and space‑complexity of programs.
• Proficient in core Spring Boot concepts: Inversion of Control, Dependency Injection, AOP, component scanning, bean scopes, bean lifecycle, Spring Boot annotations, REST API exception handling, and JPA.
• Experience with Test‑Driven Development (TDD), integration testing, and end‑to‑end testing using JUnit, Mockito, etc.
• Knowledge of microservice architecture, OpenAPI standards, message brokers, relational and NoSQL databases, caches, and common microservice design patterns.
• Experience designing and deploying cloud‑native applications on cloud service providers, including deployment and scaling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and Azure DevOps; source control using Git.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, containers, Kubernetes, distributed caching (Redis), and cloud‑devops practices.
• Knowledge of front‑end technologies: Angular, React, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
