Job summary

Litmus7 in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Java professional with a minimum of 10 years in IT to lead design and implementation of robust enterprise applications. You will architect with Java 8+, write scalable microservices, and apply patterns, with proficiency in Spring Boot, REST, JPA, and TDD.

Familiarity with cloud, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and front-end basics is valued. OWASP security awareness is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of IT experience.
• Ability to articulate design patterns and principles and their application.
• Familiar with time and space complexity analysis.
• Proficient with Java 8+ features.
• Knowledge of multithreading, streams, lambdas, functional interfaces, comparators, exception handling, and CompletableFuture.
• Proficient in Spring Boot core concepts and REST API handling, JPA.
• Experience in TDD, integration testing, and end-to-end testing (JUnit, Mockito).
• Experience with microservices, API standards, message brokers, RDBMS/NoSQL, caches.
• Experience with cloud services architecture, deployment and scaling.
• Experience with CI/CD models such as Azure DevOps, Git, pipelines, and IaC.
• Hands-on with Cloud, DevOps, Docker, Containers, Kubernetes, Redis.
• Front-end basics: Angular, React, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Ability to write/review code with OWASP security practices.

Job description

Highly proficient in object-oriented programming in Java. Minimum 10 years of IT experience.

Should be able to articulate design patterns and principles and their application.

Should be familiar with articulating time and space complexity of programs.

Should be comfortable with Java 8 and above features.

Knowledge of Multi-threading, Java Streams, Lambdas, Functional Interfaces, Comparators, Exception Handling, CompletableFuture.

Proficient in core concepts of Spring Boot like Inversion of Control, Dependency Injection, AOP, Component Scanning, Bean Scopes, Bean Lifecycle, Spring Boot Annotations, REST API Exception Handling, JPA.

Experience in test-driven development (TDD), integration testing, and end-to-end testing using Junit, Mockito etc.

Microservices Open API standards, experience with Message Brokers, RDBMS, NoSQL database, Caches, common microservice architectural patterns.

Experience with any cloud service provider application/service architecture, including deployment and scaling.

Experience with Continuous Integration Delivery models such as Azure DevOps, including Git, CI/CD pipelines and IaC.

Hands on experience/knowledge in Cloud Services, DevOps, Docker images, Containers, Kubernetes, distributed cache (Redis).

Hands on experience /knowledge in front-end technologies like Angular, React, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

Ability to write and review code for security best practices, including OWASP Top 10.
