Job summary

Lincoln Motor Company is seeking a Senior Java Microservices & GCP Platform Engineer to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using Java and Spring Boot. You will collaborate with architects, product teams, and platform engineers to deliver scalable and resilient solutions.

You will own and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Tekton, Cloud Build, Argo CD), implement GitOps practices, and ensure security, observability, and performance across environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on Java and Spring Boot expertise required.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices.
• 3+ years with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and GitOps practices.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and SQL databases.

As a Senior Java Microservices & GCP Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications using Java and Spring Boot. You will collaborate with architects, product teams, and platform engineers to build scalable and resilient solutions while implementing modern DevOps and GitOps practices.

The role requires expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, SonarQube, and CI/CD solutions such as Tekton, Cloud Build, and Argo CD. You will contribute to enterprise-scale deployment pipelines and help establish engineering standards that improve software quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.

• Experience using SonarQube for code quality analysis, security scanning, and governance.
• Knowledge of software design principles, application scalability, and resilience patterns.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
