Job summary

Acesoft Labs in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Java Developer to help shape backend services and eventually transition into a Lead role. The role emphasizes building robust backend systems with Java, Spring Boot, and micro-services, with Kafka-driven event pipelines and collaboration with React-based frontend teams.

You will contribute to architecture, performance, and real-time data processing for dashboards, while mentoring teammates and guiding design decisions.

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who can eventually transition into a Lead role. Strong backend experience is preferred, and candidates with lower experience from premier institutions will also be considered. Exposure to modern frontend frameworks is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build event-driven components using Kafka (Not just use Kafka for messaging)
• Contribute to architecture, design, scalability, and performance improvements
• Work on real-time data processing, high-speed graph plotting, and live dashboards
• Collaborate with frontend teams using React to deliver end-to-end features
• Mentor team members.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and micro-services architecture
• Experience with Kafka, distributed systems, and event-driven design
• Good problem-solving, design, and communication skills
• Intermediate exposure to ReactJS

Preferred:

• Exposure to real-time applications or streaming data systems
• Experience with high-frequency dashboards or real-time UI/data visualisation systems
