Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max/V-Ray; Photoshop for presentations.

Responsibilities

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Interior Designer role based in Jaipur. The Senior Interior Designer will lead the end-to-end design process for interior projects, including concept development, space planning, material and finish selection, and coordination of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing construction drawings, collaborating with architects, consultants, and contractors, and ensuring design intent is maintained through all project phases. The role involves meeting with clients to understand requirements, presenting design proposals and mood boards, managing project timelines and budgets, and guiding junior designers to maintain quality and consistency. The Senior Interior Designer will also stay current with trends, codes, and best practices to deliver functional, aesthetic, and sustainable spaces that align with Arch Point Group’s vision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead end-to-end interior design for high-value projects, including resorts and hospitality spaces, luxury residences, premium commercial interiors, and temple/heritage-inspired spaces.
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, space plans, 3D visualizations, and material palettes aligned with client brief and brand positioning.
• Prepare and review detailed working drawings, furniture layouts, joinery details, and finish schedules for execution.
• Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and artwork appropriate to premium and luxury project standards.
• Coordinate closely with architects, structural/MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed accurately on site.
• Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation, quality of execution, and resolve on-site design issues.
• Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, and cost estimates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and vendor negotiations in coordination with the project management team.
• Mentor and guide junior designers and design interns, reviewing their drawings and design output.
• Stay current with design trends, sustainable materials, and craftsmanship techniques relevant to luxury and cultural/temple projects.
• Ensure all design deliverables comply with applicable codes, client requirements, and Arch Point’s quality standards.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field from a recognized institute.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience, with significant time spent in a structured Design Office / interior design consultancy setup.
• Demonstrated portfolio of elite/high-end projects — resorts, luxury residences, premium commercial spaces, and/or temple or cultural projects.
• Strong command of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max/V-Ray (or equivalent rendering tools), and MS Office; working knowledge of Photoshop for presentations.
• Sound understanding of materials, finishes, furniture detailing, lighting design, and vernacular/traditional craftsmanship relevant to temple and heritage work.
• Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to lead a design team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work to deadlines.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and project reviews as required.
