Job Title: Salesforce Heroku Developer

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Heroku Developer to lead and support our Salesforce Cloud to AWS migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Heroku, Salesforce CRM, and AWS cloud integration, with a strong track record in migrating cloud-based applications and services to AWS infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Heroku applications integrated with Salesforce CRM
• Lead the technical implementation of Salesforce Cloud to AWS migration projects
• Re-architect existing Heroku apps/services for optimal alignment with AWS infrastructure
• Develop and manage APIs, data pipelines, and middleware between Salesforce, Heroku, and AWS
• Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to build scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance across Heroku and AWS-hosted services
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for solutions, architecture, and code

Mandatory Skills

• Experience in Ruby and Ruby on Rails
• Hands-on experience with the Salesforce Heroku platform
• Proven expertise in migrating applications from Salesforce Cloud or Heroku to AWS
• Proficiency in Apex, Heroku Connect, Postgres, and API integrations
• Strong working knowledge of AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB
• Understanding of microservices and containerization technologies (Docker, ECS, EKS)
• Scripting or programming experience in Node.js, Python, or Java
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools like Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer or Heroku Architecture Designer certification
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Awareness of cloud data security, compliance, and governance
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and embracing DevOps culture
