Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Lead IDMC Developer based in India to lead the design and delivery of enterprise data integration using Informatica IDMC. The role blends hands-on development with technical leadership across CDI, CAI, and DQ, enabling secure, scalable data platforms in cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

You will mentor developers, collaborate with architects and stakeholders, and contribute to governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance in a demanding data landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in data integration development, including 3+ years hands-on with Informatica Cloud/IDMC.
• Strong expertise in Informatica Cloud Data Integration (IICS/CDI), CAI, and Data Quality (IDQ/Cloud DQ).
• Practical experience with REST and SOAP APIs, API development, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Deep understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data integration architecture.
• Experience across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata, lineage, security, and compliance.
• Experience in energy-sector data and SCADA/IoT/OT systems is a plus.
• IDMC certifications or cloud certifications (Azure/AWS/GCP) are advantageous.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture, design, development, and implementation of IDMC-based data integration solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, high-performance workflows.
• Promote best practices across IDMC development, data quality, governance, and integration architecture.
• Develop and optimize pipelines using CDI, CAI, DQ, and API Manager.
• Design and maintain ETL/ELT workflows for real-time and batch processing.
• Integrate data from diverse sources including SCADA, IoT/OT, ERP, and market data.
• Automate data profiling, cleansing, validation, and quality management.
• Support governance, security, metadata, lineage, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with architects, PMs, BAs, SMEs, and engineers to deliver data solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor production pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and support deployments.
• Evaluate new IDMC capabilities and evolving technologies.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead IDMC Developer based in India.

We are seeking a senior data integration professional to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade data solutions using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). You will play a key role in modernizing complex data environments, enabling analytics, and supporting critical operational and regulatory requirements. The role combines hands‑on development with technical leadership, solution architecture, data quality, and governance. You will work with diverse data sources across cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid environments. The position offers an opportunity to influence integration standards, mentor developers, and collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and subject‑matter experts. You will contribute to scalable, secure, and high‑performance data platforms in a technically demanding environment.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, development, and implementation of enterprise data integration solutions using Informatica IDMC.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable, and high-performance data integration workflows.
• Establish and promote best practices across IDMC development, data quality, metadata management, data governance, and integration architecture.
• Develop and optimize pipelines using IDMC capabilities including Cloud Data Integration (CDI), Cloud Application Integration (CAI), Data Quality (DQ), and API Manager.
• Design and maintain ETL/ELT workflows supporting large‑scale, real‑time, and batch data processing.
• Integrate information from diverse operational and enterprise sources, including SCADA systems, IoT/OT platforms, ERP applications, market data, and other business systems.
• Implement automated data profiling, cleansing, validation, and quality management processes.
• Support enterprise data governance, security, metadata, lineage, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure integration solutions align with applicable regulatory requirements and internal data management policies.
• Partner with Data Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, SMEs, and technical teams to deliver effective data solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement across the development team.
• Monitor and optimize production pipeline performance, troubleshoot integration issues, and support release and deployment activities.
• Evaluate new IDMC capabilities and emerging technologies and recommend improvements to integration patterns and the broader data platform.
• Provide technical leadership on IDMC capabilities, platform roadmaps, reusable integration patterns, and development standards.

Requirements:

• Experience integrating data across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid technology environments.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, security, and compliance principles.
• Experience with energy‑sector data, including operational, asset, market, or customer information, is preferred.
• Familiarity with SCADA, IoT/OT systems, ETRM platforms, utility billing systems, or similar industry technologies is an advantage.
• Previous experience leading development teams or large‑scale data integration initiatives is highly valued.
• Informatica IDMC certifications and/or cloud certifications across Azure, AWS, or GCP are advantageous.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Infrastructure‑as‑Code is preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and coordinate effectively across business and engineering teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving capabilities, combined with a hands‑on approach to technical delivery.
