Job summary

UST is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer (Python) in Bengaluru to design and scale core platform services and internal tooling. You will build automation, cloud infrastructure, and reliability features that empower engineering teams to deploy safely and efficiently.

You will mentor engineers, lead incident response, and drive best practices across CI/CD, observability, and production operations in a multi-cloud, Kubernetes-based environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong Python skills with production-grade automation and tooling.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Strong observability fundamentals and tooling experience.
• Experience with Helm, ArgoCD, Argo Rollout, Docker, Ansible, Packer.
• Familiarity with Linux networking and SDLC processes.

Project Details / What You’ll Work On

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will build and scale the core platform systems that enable engineers to develop, deploy, and operate services efficiently. Your primary focus will be designing Python-based platform services, automation frameworks, and cloud infrastructure that improve developer productivity and system reliability.
