Lead FullStack Developer
Position contingent upon contract award. AIS is seeking a qualified candidate to support the unique needs of our client as a Lead FullStack Developer.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, cloud‑based web applications using .NET technologies.
- Design and implement robust and secure RESTful APIs that expose model outputs and integrate with other systems.
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into well‑structured application designs and technical specifications.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define solution direction, focusing on system integrations and extensibility.
- Ensure high code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and performance considerations.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing knowledge, experimenting with new approaches, and supporting other developers within an Agile team environment.
- Follow best practices in OOP, OOD, and design patterns.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Write clear and concise technical documentation and specifications.
- Ensure application quality through testing and debugging.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of OOP, OOD, and design patterns.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, .NET Core.
- Hands‑on experience with ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 and modern front‑end/backend integration patterns.
- Experience building and consuming scalable RESTful APIs, including authentication using OAuth or OpenID Connect.
- Experience with modern databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL – SQL/T‑SQL preferred).
- Experience with Docker containerization, including container definition, deployment, and testing.
- Strong experience writing unit and integration tests and building highly tested, reliable systems.
- Ability to participate effectively in peer code reviews, giving and receiving constructive feedback.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to collaborate in fast‑moving, cross‑functional teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivery, ownership, and producing maintainable, evolvable solutions.
- Strong desire to learn, adapt, and apply technology pragmatically to deliver real business value.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience designing systems that are maintainable, extensible, and production‑ready.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, API management, performance monitoring.
- Exposure to event‑driven architectures.
