Job summary

Staples India Business Innovation Hub Private Limited is seeking a seasoned Java developer to design, build, and maintain software supporting SEO needs. You will analyze user requirements, participate in code reviews, and ensure robust solutions while adhering to quality and security standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration within a dynamic team, proficiency in Java (6+ years), Reactive programming, REST APIs, cloud platforms, and testing.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on Java experience in software development including application development, debugging, and deployment.
• 2+ years of Reactive programming experience (Java 17 or higher versions preferred).
• 6+ years of progressively complex experience in software engineering or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent education, training, and experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) including deployment and application management.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development, using tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker, AKS.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (New Relic, Selenium, JUnit, PyTest).
• Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Understanding of security best practices in software development including API security and data encryption.
