Qualifications

• 10+ years of frontend or web engineering experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of production-level experience with Next.js.
• Deep expertise in frontend architecture, scalable UI systems, and design systems.
• Strong experience with advanced state management patterns and real-time frontend systems.
• Proven track record of leading frontend architecture at scale in production environments.
• Strong understanding of frontend security principles and secure coding practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and own scalable frontend architecture for complex, high-traffic web applications.
• Define application structure, module boundaries, shared component libraries, and long-term maintainability strategies.
• Drive architectural decisions around rendering models (SSR, SSG, ISR, CSR), styling systems, and state/data flow.
• Implement architectural patterns such as component-driven development, domain-based organization, and micro-frontends where applicable.
• Build and maintain production-grade applications using Next.js and modern React with TypeScript.
• Design and evolve reusable component libraries and enterprise-level design systems.
• Architect and manage complex state systems, clearly separating server state, client state, and UI state.
• Implement real-time communication features using WebSockets, SSE, or WebRTC with proper reconnection and consistency strategies.
• Own frontend performance optimization including code splitting, bundle analysis, memoization, virtualization, and Core Web Vitals improvements.
• Ensure frontend security best practices including XSS, CSRF mitigation, secure authentication flows, and CSP implementation.

• Mentor frontend engineers and establish coding standards, best practices, and architectural documentation (ADRs, diagrams).
  
• Collaborate with backend engineers and solution architects in cross-functional design discussions.
