Job summary

Kotak Life, Mumbai, seeks a qualified Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience to join the Finance Department. You will oversee yearly close, variance analyses, and prepare reports for CFO/MD and senior management.

You will also craft financial presentations, support the annual budget process, consolidate department budgets, benchmark against peers, and handle ad-hoc strategic analyses as directed by leadership, while ensuring timely deliverables to KMBL.

Qualifications

• CA qualification with finance accounting experience.
• 5+ years of experience in finance/accounting.

Responsibilities

• Yearly / annual closing of MIS books
• Monitor and identify reasons for variance between actual and budget numbers
• Preparation of analysis for CFO/MD review
• Preparation of financial presentations for top management meetings
• Ensuring and accurate & timely submission of deliverables to KMBL
• Preparing internal reports for executive leadership and supporting their decision making
• Active participation in developing and continuous improving Company’s annual budget
• projections and its final roll-out to all departments
• Working with individual departments to prepare budgets and consolidate them into one
• Performing competition benchmarking and giving insight to the top management on the various development across the industry
• Handling ad-hoc requirements of the top management/Holding company
• Undertake projects based on the guidance of the management
