Job summary

IMI Process Automation in Bengaluru is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Lead to support the finance team with detailed analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting. You will drive KPI reviews, develop financial models and present insights to senior management, enabling strategic decisions and improved profitability.

The role requires 5–8 years of FP&A experience, strong leadership, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5-8 years’ FP&A experience with ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience with SQL and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, IFS).
• Fluent in English; ability to communicate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Experience with consolidation software and presenting to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trends in revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capex.
• Monitor performance indicators and explain variances.

Position Summary

The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead provides analytical support to the company’s finance department in making sound financial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures
• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
• Generate project budget reports and lead review meetings
• Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, and Modeling tools.
• Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
• Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports
• Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports
• Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
• Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis
• Prepare presentations to Senior Management Team
• Assist Finance team with month end close procedures.

Qualifications and Required Skills

• 5-8 years’ experience in FP&A

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Skills
