Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a proactive Facilities Coordinator to join our Mumbai team. You will monitor maintenance requests, coordinate repairs, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities include handling service requests, maintaining documentation, liaising with security, cleaning staff, and suppliers, and guiding junior team members to meet schedules while upholding quality and safety across the facilities.

Qualifications

• High school certificate and relevant vocational training.
• Significant demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably in related work environment.
• Significant team leader experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Checks that maintenance and repairs requests are carried out in line with the SLA.
• Provides support with distribution of and response to all service requests related to facilities.
• Checks daily building inspections and ensures work complies with Health and Safety Act.
• Documents and reports on maintenance progress to management.
• Coordinates routine maintenance and repairs schedule.
• Maintains maintenance database and ensures tasks meet schedule.
• Ensures buildings, offices and equipment are maintained to required standards.
• Maintains office facilities, tools, equipment, and stock levels securely.
• Liaises with internal and external stakeholders including security, access control, and cleaning staff.
• Escalates non-performance to management and provides team lead support to junior resources.

Your role at a glance

• Checks that all maintenance and repairs requests received within the office environment and related buildings are carried out in line with the service level agreement.
• Provides support with the distribution of and response to all service requests related to the facilities.
• Checks that daily building inspections and ensures that all work undertaken conforms to the Health and Safety Act.
• Documents and reports on in progress, new and/or completed maintenance, and repair requests to management.

What we are looking for

Key Responsibilities

• Provides support with the distribution of and response to all service requests related to the facilities.
• Checks that daily building inspections and ensures that all work undertaken conforms to the Health and Safety Act.
• Documents and reports on in progress, new and/or completed maintenance, and repair requests to management.
• Coordinates routine maintenance and repairs schedule.
• Provides support with ensuring that the tasks are completed according to the schedule and updates and maintains the maintenance database.
• Ensures that buildings, offices and equipment are maintained to the required standards and that service levels are met.
• Provides support to ensure that all office facilities, tools, equipment, and stock (office consumable) levels are maintained and securely stored.
• Liaises with all internal and external stakeholders including building services management, security, and access control and cleaning staff.
• Escalates non-performance of internal and external stakeholders to the management.
• Checks all contractor documentation and maintains records such as permits, leases and correspondence on behalf of the business.
• Provides team lead support to more junior resources within the team.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications
