Deutsche Bank in Pune, India seeks a Lead Engineer (Vice President) to drive design and implementation of high-quality technology solutions within the Accounting domain. You will lead engineering efforts, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT industry experience in Full stack development.
• Expert in Java, Spring Boot, REST API, ORACLE, PL/SQL Cloud Native Architecture and Design Patterns
• Experience in Big data processing – Apache Spark, Hadoop, MongoDB is plus.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, OpenShift container platform
• Experience in message queues (RabbitMQ/IBM MQ, JMS) and Data streaming i.e. Kafka, Pub‑sub etc
• Experience of working on public cloud – GCP preferred, AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of various distributed/multi‑tiered architecture styles – Micro‑services, Data mesh, Integration patterns etc
• Knowledge of SRE with Change Management, Incident Management and Production Operations
• Experience on designing solutions that can handle large‑scale operation
• Focus on quality – experience with TDD, BDD, Stress and Contract Tests
• Proficient in working with APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and understanding data formats like JSON, XML, YAML, Parquet etc
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.

• be a hands‑on engineering lead involved in analysis, design, design/code reviews, coding and release activities

Your Key Responsibilities
