ThoughtFocus is looking for lead developers who will be responsible for building data analytics and reporting solutions for our NYC and London-based financial services client, which operates in Public/Private Loans, CLOs, and Long/Short Credit.

As a SQL, Snowflake Team Lead at ThoughtFocus, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of our strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for leading a development team of highly talented teams in technologies like SQL, and Snowflake, ensuring that project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and executives to align project objectives with the company's vision.

Salary range –

Responsibilities

• SQL, Snowflake development via expertise in all aspects related to analysis, understanding the business requirement, taking an optimized approach to developing code, and ensuring data quality in outputs presented
• Advanced SQL to create and optimize stored procedures, functions, and performance optimize
• Approach analytically to translate data into last mile SQL objects for consumption in reports and dashboards
• 5+ years of experience in MS SQL, Snowflake
• 3+ years of experience in teams where SQL outputs were consumed via Power BI / Tableau / SSRS and similar tools
• Should be able to define and enforce Best Practices
• Good communication skills to be able to discuss and deliver requirements effectively with the client
