Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering from a reputed university.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in process engineering.
• Strong knowledge of process design for steam boilers and auxiliary systems.
• Solid understanding of heat transfer, heat and mass balance, and chemical stoichiometric calculations.
• Working knowledge of ASME and EN standards related to piping, pressure vessels, and process engineering requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Knowledge of COMOS is an advantage.
• Business-fluent English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and technology units as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design and application engineering activities for power boilers (CFB, BFB) and gasifiers.
• Perform process and design calculations for power boiler systems.
• Prepare technical specifications, deviations, and clarifications for proposal documents to support sales activities.
• Develop technical specifications for auxiliary equipment and conduct technical bid evaluations (TBE) for supplier offers.
• Create and maintain P&IDs, perform pipe sizing, pump capacity calculations, and define valve and safety valve specifications.
• Prepare and maintain pipeline lists, valve lists, and equipment lists.
• Provide engineering inputs for instrumentation and control valves/dampers.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to conduct HAZOP studies.
• Partner with suppliers to support product localization activities and evaluate technical solutions.
• Support customers, erection teams, and commissioning teams by resolving technical queries and troubleshooting issues.
