Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer in Gurugram District, India. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of strong experience in design for pharmaceutical, biotech, and chemical projects.

Responsibilities include detailed engineering activities, procurement, and selection of instruments. The position offers flexible working arrangements and extended leave options.

Strong knowledge of engineering codes, pharma regulatory requirements, and Smart Plant Instrumentation is essential.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Candidate must have strong experience in design of pharmaceutical / Life Science / Biotech facility / Specialty Chemical/Chemical Projects in terms of Instrument & Automation design.
• Perform detailed Instrument engineering activities for industrial projects such as FMCG and chemical industries covering DCS, PLC, SCADA, foundation field bus, various types of layouts, procurement activity for instrument items covering preparation of enquiry specification, review of quotes and preparation of TR, preparation of order specifications, review of vendor drawings, review of instrument content for mechanical packages.
• Exposure / experience on DCS, PLC, SCADA based control systems including FAT, SAT and commissioning of control systems used in the above mentioned industries.
• Selection of Instruments and control valves.
• Good knowledge in selection of Building Automation System (BAS) and Environmental Management System (EMS).
• Sound knowledge of engineering codes and standards.
• Sound knowledge of pharma regulatory requirements including 21 CFR, Part 11.
• Proficient in Smart Plant Instrumentation.

Qualifications

• BTech/ BSc Engineering – Instrumentation & Control.
• 12+ years of experience.
