Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain integrations between client systems and Thomson Reuters products.
- Support Thomson Reuters customers through end‑to‑end API implementation and provide ongoing technical assistance.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for APIs, integrations, and SSO‑related implementations.
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with customers, product teams, engineering teams, and technology stakeholders across Thomson Reuters.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather, assess, and prioritize customer feedback to support product innovation and improve customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders on upcoming features, product enhancements, changes, defects, and technical updates.
- Support cross‑functional teams in resolving integration challenges and ensuring smooth customer onboarding and adoption.
- Drive continuous improvement in integration processes, API usage, and customer support practices.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Integration Engineer, API Engineer, Technical Analyst, or in a similar technical/customer‑facing role.
- Proven experience supporting customers with API implementations and providing ongoing technical support for APIs.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical requirements.
- Good understanding of SSO concepts and implementation approaches.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build, maintain, and manage relationships across customers and internal teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience creating detailed technical and functional documentation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to independently initiate, manage, and drive projects to successful completion with minimal supervision.
- 6+ years of software development experience with Java and Angular on AWS and/or Azure platforms; relevant cloud certifications preferred.
- 1+ year of experience working with AI technologies.
- Experience in XML, XSLT, XSD, and related technologies.
- Experience with source control tools such as Git, TFS, or similar platforms.
