Job summary

Quarks Technosoft Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru/Noida is looking for a senior data migration and integration engineer to drive end-to-end data migration efforts. You will lead source-to-target mappings, build IICS workflows, and load Salesforce at scale while leveraging BigQuery as a staging area.

You will work with client stakeholders in a dynamic environment, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and reliable delivery through CI/CD pipelines and automation, while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering or integration.
• Salesforce integration experience: Bulk API 2.0, REST/SOAP, SOQL.
• Advanced SQL in BigQuery, Oracle or SQL Server.
• At least two end-to-end legacy-to-new migrations delivered, one into Salesforce, 100+ tables/objects.
• REST API integration: OAuth2, JSON/XML mapping, pagination.
• Python scripting for automation and validation.

Responsibilities

• Run client conversations: weekly status, risks and decisions; mentor junior engineers.

About the role

You will lead the data migration and integration work end to end, using Informatica IICS, Google BigQuery and Salesforce ( Certinia PSA). You will work directly with client stakeholders, often with little direction and a lot of ambiguity, and you will own the outcome.

What you'll do

Lead legacy-to-new data migrations: source-to-target mapping, load sequencing, cutover and rollback.

Build IICS mappings, mapplets, parameterized components and taskflows .

Load Salesforce at scale using Bulk API 2.0, REST and SOAP.

Use BigQuery as the staging layer; write advanced SQL for profiling, transformation and reconciliation.

Uncover undocumented business logic in legacy data and validate it with business owners.

Reconcile every load at row, field and business-total level, with sign-off evidence.

Build in error handling, retries, reliability , alerting and logging; tune performance.

Automate delivery with CI/CD, Python and Airflow where needed.

Build Power BI reports for migration validation and business use.

Run client conversations: weekly status, risks and decisions; mentor junior engineers.

What you bring (required)

8+ years in data engineering or integration, including 5+ years hands-on with Informatica IICS or PowerCenter.

Salesforce integration experience: Bulk API 2.0, REST/SOAP, SOQL, API limits, record locking, external IDs.

Advanced SQL in BigQuery , Oracle or SQL Server, plus PL/SQL.

At least two end-to-end legacy-to-new application migrations delivered, one into Salesforce, at 100+ tables or objects.

REST API integration: OAuth2, JSON/XML mapping, pagination, idempotency.

Python scripting for automation and validation.

3+ years in client-facing consulting or professional services, with strong written and spoken English.

Certinia PSA (FinancialForce) or another Salesforce-native PSA

OpenAir or a similar PSA or time-and-billing source system

Informatica, Salesforce or Google Cloud certifications
