Job summary

Jacobs is hiring an experienced Electrical Design Engineer in India to independently handle electrical design work across projects and potentially lead a small team of 1-3 engineers. The role requires strong knowledge of dry utility electrical design, HV/MV/LV networks, pumping stations, and water treatment facilities, plus experience with SLDs, layouts, protection and control schemes.

• Minimum Experience of 10 to 14 years

Responsibilities

• Independently handle electrical design work in projects.
• May lead a small project team of 1-3 people.
• Shall be well versed in Dry utility electrical design of HV, MV, LV network design, pumping stations, water wastewater treatment plants, street lighting.
• Shall be well versed in electrical design calculations, preparation of Single line diagrams, layouts, schematic wiring, protection and control schemes.
• Preparation of design basis, technical specifications, BOQ.
• Shall have knowledge of all electrical related deliverables and drawings.
• Well versed in codes and regulations like IEC, IEEE, NEC, SEC, DEWA, SEWA, IS standards, etc.
