Job summary

Tata Technologies Ltd. is seeking an experienced Thermal Management Engineer in Pune to lead the design, development, integration, and validation of thermal systems for BEV and xHEV propulsion, including battery cooling and HVAC integration.

You will perform simulations using GT-SUITE, ANSYS, or MATLAB/Simulink, define system requirements, and support prototype builds. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will optimize performance and reliability of cooling strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience in BEV/HEV propulsion thermal management is required.
• Hands-on knowledge of battery thermal management systems.
• Familiarity with DFMEA and DVP&R processes.
• Experience with heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
• Proficiency in CATIA or Creo for design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate thermal management systems for BEV/xHEV.
• Define system requirements and component specifications.
• Perform thermal simulations using GT-SUITE, ANSYS, or MATLAB/Simulink.
• Integrate cooling with battery packs, e-motors, inverters, and power electronics.
• Coordinate with vehicle architecture, controls, calibration, and suppliers.

Role Overview

Responsible for the design, development, integration, and validation of thermal management systems for BEV and xHEV propulsion systems, including battery cooling, e-motor, inverter, and vehicle-level HVAC integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize thermal performance, efficiency, reliability, and cooling strategies.
