Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a senior Civil Engineer to lead design of site infrastructure, drainage, grading, roads and plumbing for large pharmaceutical facilities in Chennai. You will review and approve documentation, evaluate bids, and prepare BOQs/MTO, while guiding a team of engineers and designers to ensure interfaces are seamless.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 12+ years of experience in industrial plants or pharma projects, with strong leadership, communication

Job Summary

Designing of site infrastructure, drainage, grading, road and building plumbing services. Ensure all documentation within scope is prepared, checked, reviewed, and approved according to Group working instructions. Review vendor bids and documentation for technical acceptability and prepare BOQs/MTO. Render technical assistance to other design groups as necessary, including review of relevant drawings for adequate interfaces.

Technical Skills

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Sound knowledge and strong experience of pharmaceutical, life science and biotech facility layout and process requirements
• Detail design engineering and construction experience with consultancy organizations and contractors
• Detail civil engineering design for industrial plants such as chemical, petrochemical, fertilizer, pharmaceutical, food and power plant commercial residential projects
