Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking a seasoned Vehicle Integration expert with 10-15 years of experience in architecture for ADAS, comfort, and safety systems. You will guide mechanical integration, lead CATIA V5 CAD activities, and oversee design validation for manufacturability and compliance.

The role involves coordinating with vendors, evaluating new/existing designs against standards, and supporting EN release through PLM tooling such as Teamcenter.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in vehicle integration and architecture.
• Expertise in design concepts to meet cost objectives, schedule and design parameters.
• Hands-on CAD experience and guidance to team on CAD-related activities.
• Knowledge of tooling for sheet metal and plastics, dimensional engineering and tolerance study.
• Familiarity with packaging guidelines for ADAS sensors, cameras, HUD at system level.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for components such as ADAS, APA and parking systems; provide mechanical integration guidance.
• Lead CAD activities using CATIA V5 and mentor team accordingly.
• Evaluate designs for compliance with internal, external standards and regulations.
• Interface with vendors to select and approve components; ensure manufacturability.
• Support EN release activities using PLM tools like Teamcenter.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• 1. Subject Matter Expert (SME) in handling the components like ADAS, APA, Parking system , DOMS (driver occupant monitoring system) and having detailed knowledge on Mechanical intergration of these said components .
• 2. Having hand on experiecne in CAD system CATIA V 5 and guide the team technically to handle all CAD related activities
• 3.Detailed knowledge on the tooling of sheet metal , plastics , dimesional engineering & tolerance study
• 4. Basic knowledge on guidelines for packaging of advanced E&E components like Sensors,Camera for ADAS,HUD etc., at system level
• 5. Detailed knowledge of basic stress/system calculations using CAE and also implement design changes accordingly
• 6 Initiate and develop design concepts to meet cost objectives, schedule, design parameters and criteria by use of layouts and installation drawings.
• 7. Evaluate existing and new designs for compliance to internal and external standards and review designs for various governmental regulation compliance
• 8. Responsible for Design for Manufacturability and understanding of manufacturing processes
• Interface with vendors and suppliers to select and approve components
• 9. Should have hands on experience on any PLM tool/Team center for EN release activities
