Job summary

BASE Automation in Chennai, India is seeking a hands-on Tech Lead to guide a team of 6–8 developers and drive day-to-day technical activities.

You will own requirement analysis, sprint planning, module design (C#, .NET 6/8, Web API), and ensure quality through code reviews and CI/CD deployments.

Collaborate with QA, DevOps and customers to manage risks, perform root cause analysis, and deliver enterprise-grade applications on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering or related field.
• 6–8 years of software development experience.
• Minimum 2 years leading a development team or technical project.
• Experience delivering at least one end-to-end enterprise application.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET 6/8, ASP.NET Core, Web API, MVC.
• Good understanding of SOLID principles, OOP, dependency injection, and design patterns.
• Experience with SQL Server and at least one relational database (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Experience with Entity Framework Core or Dapper.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, JWT authentication, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps/GitHub.
• Basic exposure to Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Angular or React is desirable.
• Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud services is an advantage.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, MES, SCADA, OPC UA, or MQTT is desirable but not mandatory.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 6-8 years of software development experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading a development team or technical project.
• Experience delivering at least one end-to-end enterprise application.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
