Overview

We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our technology team in Clarivate. You will be working in a highly agile, innovation-driven, and DevOps-centric software product organization alongside the product engineering team, cloud and software security engineers, architects, agile delivery managers, and software support teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive integration and delivery of technical solutions aligned with product roadmaps, customer needs, and strategic priorities.
• Design, develop, and implement the product infrastructure architecture.
• Drive the implementation of service improvements, automation, monitoring, and DevOps best practices throughout the product lifecycle.
• Own the performance, availability, reliability, security, and scalability of the product(s) running across cloud, global multi-region, infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Overall 7 years of experience and 3 years as AWS DevOps Engineer with experience on various CI/CD tools.
• Excellent knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery approaches. Strong practical knowledge of CI Tools, e.g. Jenkins.
• Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting skills in one or any combination of Bash, Python.
• 3 years of hands-on experience with Docker.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in AWS RDS DB Server administration (MySQL & PostgreSQL).
• Minimum 1 year of experience using AWS Lambda.
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in programming languages, TypeScript or JavaScript.
• AWS (Step Functions, API Gateway).
