Job summary

NYU SOFT SOLUTIONS LLP is seeking a senior full-stack developer to lead MERN stack projects in India. You will translate Figma/PSD designs into responsive React interfaces, build robust RESTful APIs, and guide a development team through architectural decisions and best practices.

You will collaborate with clients and designers, ensure on-time delivery, and adopt AI-assisted development workflows using Claude Code or Cursor to review AI-generated code for quality, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

Job description

• Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of web applications using the MERN stack.


• Convert Figma/PSD designs into responsive, high-quality React.js interfaces.


• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and scalable backend solutions.


• Manage technical decisions, code quality, architecture, and development best practices.


• Handle project planning, task allocation, estimation, and timely delivery of development tasks.


• Lead, mentor, and guide developers to ensure high-quality code and efficient collaboration.


• Communicate directly with clients to understand requirements, discuss technical solutions, provide project updates, and resolve issues.


• Collaborate with designers, developers, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.


• Debug, optimize, and maintain existing applications and resolve complex technical issues.


• Use Claude Code for AI-assisted development, review AI-generated code, and ensure its quality, security, and reliability.


• Take ownership of project deliverables and ensure adherence to coding standards and deadlines.

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience with Next.js and TypeScript.


• Strong understanding of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Prisma ORM, and RESTful APIs.


• Strong knowledge of Git, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), debugging, and code optimization.


• Experience with software architecture, technical decision-making, code reviews, and development best practices.


• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate a development team.


• Experience with project planning, task allocation, estimation, deadline management, and delivery.


• Strong client communication skills, including requirement gathering, technical discussions, and project updates.


• Ability to independently manage technical challenges and take ownership of project outcomes.


• **Hands-on experience with Claude Code or Cursor is mandatory.**
