Summary

The Lead Developer is accountable for designing, building, testing, and supporting scalable solutions across three core domains: SAP development (ECC and S/4HANA), enterprise integrations (A2A/B2B/EDI), and Robotic Process Automation. The role translates business requirements into secure, reliable, and supportable technical outcomes—leveraging classical ABAP and modern SAP capabilities (CDS, OData, RAP, Fiori/UI5), an enterprise integration platform (e.g., Boomi) and API/EDI patterns, and UiPath for automation (Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework, Document Understanding). The Lead Developer partners with product owners, business analysts, architects, and global delivery teams; establishes and enforces coding and documentation standards; mentors other developers; and drives continuous improvement and modernization, including S/4HANA transformation and automation-first practices. Occasional after-hours support may be needed for critical releases or incidents

  • Establish and track delivery and operational metrics (e.g., defect density, cycle time, SLA adherence, bot success rates); identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities in processes, tooling, and architecture.
  • Mentor and coach developers; promote knowledge reuse via templates, shared components, and inner-source practices; contribute to hiring and capability building.
