Job summary

Guidehouse India is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Developer to design, build, and support our internal Microsoft cloud solutions. You will work across Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform, and Azure-based integrations to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure technology.

The role emphasizes collaboration with architects and senior engineers, adherence to SDLC standards, and continuous improvement in a hybrid delivery environment. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or US equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Eight+ years of development with minimum four years of hands-on Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 CRM (Sales and Marketing/Customer Insights).
• Proficiency in Power Apps (Model-Driven) and Power Automate (cloud flows).
• Strong C#/.NET development for plugins and Azure services; REST APIs and integrations.
• Knowledge of Dataverse data modeling, security roles, and solution packaging.
• Experience in SDLC, Agile delivery, and collaboration with architects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions including Sales and Marketing modules.
• Build enterprise Power Platform solutions using Model-Driven Apps and PCF controls.
• Develop backend services and integrations using C# plugins and Azure Functions.
• Create and manage Azure Logic Apps and orchestrations for enterprise integrations.
• Implement secure, scalable Azure and external integrations with authentication and monitoring.
• Produce technical diagrams, solution documentation, and integration notes.

What You Will Do

We are seeking a Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Developer to help design, build, enhance, and support our internal Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution. This role requires hands-on experience across Dynamics 365 CRM (Sales and Marketing / Customer Insights), the Power Platform, and Azure-based integrations. The ideal candidate has strong development fundamentals, works well with architects and senior technical team members, and can translate functional and technical requirements into reliable, secure Microsoft cloud solutions. This is an internal-facing developer role focused on high quality delivery, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Design, develop, and maintain Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions, including Sales and Marketing (Customer Insights) modules.


• Build enterprise-grade Power Platform solutions using:


• Model-Driven Apps


• Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls


• Power Automate cloud and desktop flows


• Develop backend services and integrations using:


• C# (.NET) plugins, custom workflow activities, and Azure Functions


• Azure Logic Apps for orchestration and enterprise integration patterns


• REST/SOAP APIs and external system integrations


• Implement secure, scalable Azure and external integrations, including authentication, data transformation, and monitoring.


• Contribute to solution designs covering Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, and external systems under the guidance of architects or senior technical team members.


• Support deployment processes for Dynamics CRM solutions using Azure DevOps pipelines, including build automation, environment promotion, release support, and CI/CD best practices.


• Create and maintain technical diagrams, solution documentation, and integration notes aligned with Microsoft best practices.


• Assist with impact analysis and effort estimation for new features, enhancements, and production support requests.


• Participate in full lifecycle implementations including requirements analysis, design, build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.


• Identify technical considerations and document non-functional impacts such as security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.


• Ensure designs align with SaaS / PaaS best practices and Microsoft reference architectures.


• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve batch jobs, integrations, plugins, and async operations within Dynamics 365 environments.


• Collaborate with architects, senior developers, IT, and internal stakeholders to deliver functionality using an agile methodology.


• Participate in peer reviews, follow SDLC standards, and apply feedback from senior team members to improve solution quality.


• Prepare and deliver technical walkthroughs and solution overviews to technical stakeholders as needed.


• Stays current with technology advances and industry best practices to ensure Guidehouse solutions remain modern and relevant.

What You Will Need

• HTML / CSS for custom UI components and portal extensions


• Strong working knowledge of relational databases and enterprise integration patterns.


• Experience with Backend, Data & Integration


• C# (.NET / .NET Core) development for plugins, custom workflow activities, and Azure services


• Azure Function Apps and Azure Logic Apps


• REST APIs, web services, and external system integrations


• SQL, FetchXML, querying and performance optimization


• Integration monitoring, error handling, and retry patterns


• Experience participating in code reviews and collaborating with senior developers to improve code quality and maintainability.


• Experience supporting full lifecycle Dynamics 365 implementations with managed solutions.


• Experience working within SDLC methodologies, including requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment.


• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Experience with integration and transformations using Power Platform Data Flows and Azure Data Factories.


• Experience with Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions.


• Familiarity with Power BI reporting and Power Query transformations.


• Experience working with GIT.


• Background with a large consulting firm or Microsoft partner ecosystem


• Experience with custom Power Platform solutions outside of Dynamics 365.


• Experience building, curating, and maintaining Azure DevOps boards for sprint planning and management.
