Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in EE/EC/Computer Engineering with 2 to 5 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of computer architecture of embedded processors.
• Proficient in programming with a good understanding of efficient implementation of high-performance algorithms and data structures.
• Experience in writing, debugging, and optimizing software on embedded processors and emulation platforms.
• Proficiency in C/C++, driver development, and low-level firmware programming.
• Familiarity with Functional Safety, ISO 26262, and JAMA is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working with geographically diverse and cross-functional teams.
• Experience resolving customer issues and working directly with customers.
• Understanding of Neural Networks / Deep Learning in vision and speech areas is a plus.

You will be a member of the Systems Engineering Team at Cadence with a focus on developing and optimizing solutions for a wide range of IP products. Neural networks are being developed and deployed in various markets, from IoT to surveillance to automotive. The computational, power, and memory requirements to process this data are continuously increasing, with new networks and approaches to deep learning emerging daily. As a member of the Neo NPU driver and functional safety team, you will be responsible for designing, developing solutions, and optimizing power, performance, and area for scalable IP products used in diverse fields. Members of the IP Systems Engineering Team are technical experts in their field. In this role, you will collaborate with other development engineering teams and customer support teams, and support customers with programming, use, and integration of these IP products into their systems.
