Chosen Talentz is seeking a Senior Data / Integration Engineer in Coimbatore to lead offshore data engineering delivery. You will own ingestion and transformation delivery on FiveTran, Snowflake, and dbt while coordinating MDM, reporting, and platform work with onshore architects and project managers.

The role demands 8+ years in data engineering, 2+ years of leadership, and strong hands-on experience with SQL, Snowflake, dbt, and FiveTran to deliver major production platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Own offshore data engineering estimates, task allocation, dependencies, progress reporting, and delivery commitments.
• Build and manage FiveTran ingestion pipelines and incremental data loads with robust recovery.
• Develop Snowflake datasets (Bronze-Silver-Gold) and modular dbt models with clear dependencies.
• Implement source-to-target mappings, reconciliation, and historical data handling.
• Ensure data quality with dbt tests and lineage documentation in coordination with governance.
• Review offshore code, enforce standards, and escalate architecture decisions to onshore leads.
• Coordinate data flows with MDM and BI teams, and manage metadata and lineage.
• Coordinate testing, deployment readiness, and production handover with stakeholders.

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Data / Integration Engineer with 8+ years of experience in data engineering, including at least 2 years of experience leading delivery teams. The role involves leading offshore data engineering delivery, owns ingestion and transformation delivery on Five Tran, Snowflake, and dbt, coordinating MDM, reporting, and platform work with the onshore architect and Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Own offshore data engineering estimates, task allocation, dependencies, progress reporting, and technical delivery commitments.
• Build and maintain Five Tran ingestion and approved file or API pipelines; manage incremental loads, schema changes, failed loads, and recovery.
• Develop Snowflake Bronze, Silver, and gold datasets and modular dbt models with documented dependencies and reusable transformation logic.
• Implement source-to-target mappings, reconciliation, incremental processing, historical data handling, and dimensional models.
• Own pipeline data quality through dbt tests, completeness and freshness checks, exception handling, and remediation tracking.
• Review code and designs across the offshore team; enforce engineering standards and elevate architecture decisions to the onshore architect.
• Coordinate Snowflake and Profisee data flows with the MDM engineer and trusted reporting datasets with the BI engineer.
• Maintain technical metadata, transformation documentation, and lineage in coordination with the MDM and Data Governance Engineer.
• Coordinate integration testing, defect resolution, deployment readiness, and production handover; provide evidence for release approval.
• Identify delivery risks early and coordinate priorities with the Project Manager, CRM team, and client stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 8+ years in data engineering, including 2+ years leading delivery teams.
• Strong hands-on SQL, Snowflake data engineering, dbt development, and Five Tran ingestion experience.
• Experience delivering at least two production data platform implementations, including source reconciliation and operational handover.
• Experience with dbt models, tests, documentation, incremental strategies, Git workflows, and performance tuning.
• Working knowledge of MDM integration patterns, data governance controls, and Power BI data requirements.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, estimation, code review, stakeholder communication, and issue ownership.

Good to Have

• Financial services or investment data experience, including customer, account, advisor, or sales data.
• Exposure to Profisee, Dynamics 365 integrations, Python, and Azure DevOps.
• Snowflake or dbt certification and consulting or systems integrator delivery experience.

Additional Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, structured documentation and ability to take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Availability for agreed overlap with US Central business hours and planned releases is expected.
