Job summary

Amadeus Hospitality is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to design and scale cloud-based data platforms that deliver reliable insights and governance across projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and performance while shaping the data infrastructure for reporting and AI initiatives.

The role emphasizes Delta Lake architectures, Azure Databricks, Spark, and end-to-end data pipelines in an Agile environment, with a strong focus on security and data governance.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in data engineering.
• Hands-on exposure to Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and data pipeline frameworks.
• Familiarity with Delta Lake architecture (bronze, silver, gold).
• Knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage, Data Factory, and related services.
• Experience implementing CI/CD for data engineering workflows.
• Understanding of data governance and security concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed data environments.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving mindset.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in distributed data environments.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem‑solving mindset.
• Comfortable working in Agile or similar team‑oriented methodologies.
