Job summary

Tata Power Company is seeking an experienced SAP CPI/PI integration specialist in Mumbai to design, build, and maintain complex integration flows for cloud‑to‑cloud and cloud‑to‑on‑premise scenarios. You will implement mappings with XSLT, Groovy, and JavaScript, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and ensure secure, scalable integrations.

The role requires 10+ years in SAP integration, with strong API management and security skills, and a degree in CS/IT or related field.

Qualifications

• Proven 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI integration projects.
• Experience creating complex integration scenarios involving SAP and third‑party apps.
• Strong experience with API management and securing integrations using modern authentication and encryption standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP Certified Development Associate SAP Cloud Platform Integration (Preferred)
• SAP Certified Integration Associate SAP Cloud Integration (Preferred)
• Experience with SAP CPI WebUI, Splunk, Postman.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure end‑to‑end integration flows (iFlows) within SAP CPI for cloud‑to‑cloud and cloud‑to‑on‑premise integration scenarios.
• Implement complex mapping and transformation logic using XSLT, Groovy scripts, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather integration requirements and ensure scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot integration flows for performance, reliability, and issue resolution.
• Configure and maintain security artifacts such as certificates, API keys, OAuth tokens, PGP, SSL, SAML.
• Use SAP CPI Operations View and monitoring tools like Splunk and Postman for proactive monitoring and diagnostics.
• Maintain version control and support DevOps practices within CPI landscapes using Git and transport management tools.
• Prepare and maintain technical design documents, interface specifications, and contribute across lifecycle stages.
• Utilize SAP API Management to design, configure, and secure scalable APIs with governance best practices.

• Adapters: SFTP, OData, IDoc, SOAP, REST, HTTPS, JDBC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Salesforce (SFDC), and other third-party systems
• Programming & Scripting: Groovy, JavaScript, XSLT, XML, JSON
• API & Security: SAP API Management, OAuth 2.0, JWT, REST APIs, SAML, PGP Encryption/Decryption, SSL

• Collaborate closely with functional teams to gather and analyze integration requirements, ensuring delivery of scalable and maintainable integration solutions.
• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot integration flows to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and timely issue resolution.
• Configure and maintain security artifacts such as certificates, API keys, OAuth tokens, and perform encryption/decryption using PGP, SSL, OAuth 2.0, and SAML.
• Use SAP CPI Operations View and monitoring tools like Splunk and Postman for proactive monitoring, diagnostics, and root cause analysis.
• Maintain version control and support DevOps practices within CPI landscapes using Git and transport management tools.
• Prepare and maintain technical design documents, interface specifications, and contribute across all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Utilize SAP API Management to design, configure, and secure scalable APIs using policies and governance best practices.
