Job summary

You will collaborate with Finance and IT teams, coordinate with external auditors, monitor ITGCs, and oversee the end-to-end Sarbanes-Oxley certification process, aligning with RBI guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform SOX audits, evaluating business process controls, financial reporting risks, and SOX & IT General Controls under the COSO framework.
• Collaborate with business teams and external auditors on SOX testing, control remediation, Audit Committee reporting, and continuous improvement of the internal control environment.
• Evaluate system access, change management, and IT controls to strengthen SOX compliance and data integrity.
• Review RCMs, entity-level, business process, and IT controls with Finance and IT teams.
• Coordinate with external auditors on SOX scoping, quarterly testing, and Audit Committee reporting, ensuring timely closure of audit findings.
• Monitor compliance through SOX testing, ITGC reviews, policy compliance, and periodic reporting to senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Oversee the end-to-end SOX certification process and IFC compliance, coordinating with Finance, process owners, auditors.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To lead SOX / IFC testing of the Bank and manage SOX audits for the Bank

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform SOX audits, evaluating business process controls, financial reporting risks, and SOX & IT General Controls under the COSO framework.
• Collaborate with business teams and external auditors on SOX testing, control remediation, Audit Committee reporting, and continuous improvement of the internal control environment.
• Evaluated system access, change management, and IT controls to strengthen SOX compliance and data integrity.
• Review RCMs, entity-level, business process, and IT controls by working closely with Finance and IT teams.
• Coordinate with external auditors on SOX scoping, quarterly testing, and Audit Committee reporting, and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Compliance monitoring through SOX testing, ITGC reviews, policy compliance, and periodic reporting to senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Oversee the endtoend SOX certification process (as required under the SarbanesOxley Act) and IFC compliance (as per the Companies Act), including coordination with Finance teams, process owners, external auditors and internal auditors.

• Person having knowledge of related areas of operations/RBI guidelines on banking operations would be preferred
