Job summary

Kanstrukt Group in Clark, NJ is seeking a skilled carpenter for full-time residential renovations. You’ll perform framing, door and cabinetry work, read plans, and work with the team to deliver quality results. Must bring own tools and a valid driver’s license, with 5+ years of hands-on experience.

You’ll be paid $28–$40 per hour, 40 hours per week, with standard vacation. The role requires reliability, safety awareness, and a willingness to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on carpentry experience in residential renovations.
• Provide trade references.
• Able to commute to our hub location in Clark, NJ.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Own your own tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform framing, door and window installation, vinyl flooring, cabinetry and trim work.
• Read and interpret construction plans and work with the team.
• Operate handheld devices to clock in/out and manage materials.
• Drive company vehicle to client sites across Central New Jersey.
• Participate in ongoing training and up-skill opportunities.

Job description

Full-time, Private, Non-Union Area of Work: 95% Central Jersey area Rate: $28 - $40 Hours Worked: 40hrs/week Vacation: Standard Vacation (1 week paid)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Working under minimal supervision, you’ll perform a variety of daily work assignments which may include: Controlled Demolition; General Framing; Window and door installation; Interior doors installation; Vinyl flooring installation, Custom cabinetry Installation, custom trim work
• Read and interpret construction plans to execute projects accurately; Working as a team with fellow employees and sub-trades.
• Learn how to use the latest software on handheld devices to clock in/out, communicate about work status and materials schedules.
• Drive a company vehicle to client sites across Central New Jersey (e.g. Westfield, Scotch Plains, Clark, Cranford)
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill opportunities

You Are:

• Currently a Carpenter with minimum 5 years hands-on experience with residential home renovation, additions or new builds. (Provide trade references.)
• Able to commute to our hub location in Clark, NJ
• Carrying a valid Driver's License & able to provide a clean drivers abstract
• Bringing your own tools. (Speciality tools provided by Kanstrukt Group)
