Job Description

As a Lead - Business Systems Services, you will be responsible for executing and supporting the development, integration, and optimization of business systems. This role requires technical understanding of Python, Django, Data Structures, Algorithms, and advanced Problem Solving.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions, optimize workflows, and ensure the seamless operation of critical business applications. The role involves solving complex technical challenges, developing scalable solutions, and contributing directly to the day-to-day success of business systems.

Technical Development: Leverage your expertise in Python and Django to build scalable, efficient, and secure solutions. Develop backend services and APIs to enhance system capabilities.

● Data Structures & Algorithms: Apply your knowledge of data structures and algorithms to design optimized solutions for data processing, performance improvements, and problem-solving within systems.

● Slack Apps: Develop Slack Apps which contribute towards improving Employee Productivity.

● Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve technical issues efficiently by diagnosing problems and proposing solutions across Python applications & Django configurations.

● Process Optimization: Contribute to the optimization of workflows, system performance, and data flow through the intelligent application of data structures and algorithms.

● Collaboration & Support: Partner with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, deliver solutions, and provide ongoing support for system integrations and maintenance.

Key Skills Needed:

● Python & Django Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python for backend development, coupled with hands-on experience using Django for building web applications, APIs, and integrations.

● Data Structures & Algorithms: Advanced knowledge of data structures (e.g., lists, trees, graphs, hash tables) and algorithms (e.g., sorting, searching, dynamic programming) to solve performance bottlenecks and design optimized solutions.

● Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills to analyze technical issues, propose creative solutions, and implement them effectively within the system.

● Database Management: Ability to work with relational databases (SQL) writing optimized queries to retrieve, manipulate, and transform data.

● Knowledge of IPAAS: Experience with IPAAS Platforms like Workato or Mulesoft or Databricks, process automation, and integrating with other platforms using APIs and middleware solutions.

● Attention to Detail & Quality: Strong focus on delivering high-quality, maintainable code with careful attention to detail, particularly for optimizing system performance.

This role requires a highly technical individual who thrives in hands-on development and problem-solving. You’ll be expected to bring strong coding skills, system architecture understanding, and the ability to solve complex technical challenges.

● Consistent resolution of technical issues and rapid troubleshooting response time. Positive user feedback on system functionality, integration accuracy, and overall performance improvements.

Qualifications

● 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python and Django development, including backend programming, API development, and integrations.

● Solid experience in data structures and algorithms, with a strong understanding of how to optimize code and system performance.

● Proficiency in SQL databases for data manipulation and query optimization.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering efficient, scalable solutions.

● Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices for automating deployment and testing of code.
