Job summary

Bravura Solutions is seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join our Product Development team. This cross-client, cross-domain role requires strong business acumen and design expertise to shape solutions for customers across Australian, UK and South Africa.

You will partner with Customers, Service Delivery Managers and Product teams to drive delivery, mentor analysts and leverage AI/LLM tools to improve productivity while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of BA experience in software/product development.
• Exposure to Finance industries (Insurance, Investment banking, Capital Markets, Superannuation, Pensions or UK wrap) mandatory.
• Srong expertise in BA, Solution Design and Impact Assessment.
• Hands-on testing/BA in multi-user financial software.
• Experience across multiple clients, domains or regions.
• Strong stakeholder management across Customers, Service Delivery Managers, Project Managers, Consultants and technical teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, influencing and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery.
• Ability to quickly understand new domains and apply knowledge.
• Experience mentoring/reviewing BAs and driving quality standards.
• Strong ownership and independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Business Analysis and Solution Design for complex product enhancements, client requirements and regulatory/business change.
• Work across multiple clients, domains and regions, rapidly understanding different business processes, regulatory requirements and client-specific needs.
• Perform cross-client, cross-domain and regional impact analysis, identifying dependencies, commonality, differences and opportunities for standardisation and reuse.
• Own high-quality Solution Designs / Business Solution Designs, translating complex business needs into scalable product solutions.
• Act as a key BA interface for Customers, Service Delivery Managers and Project Managers, managing requirements, priorities, scope, risks, dependencies and delivery expectations.
• Lead customer and stakeholder workshops, requirement discussions and solution walkthroughs, clearly communicating complex business and product concepts.
• Hands-on experience leveraging Generative AI/LLM tools across BA and SDLC activities, with the ability to develop effective prompts and reusable AI workflows, validate outputs, identify automation opportunities, and drive measurable improvements in productivity and quality.
• Partner with Product, Development, QA and Architecture teams across the SDLC, from requirements through UAT and release.
• Challenge requirements constructively, identify gaps and ambiguities, and recommend effective business and solution alternatives.
• Drive BA quality, governance, standardisation and continuous improvement across clients and domains.
• Mentor and coach Business Analysts and contribute to BA capability upliftment.
• Identify and implement opportunities for AI, automation and process improvement to improve productivity, reduce effort and maintain/improve quality.

About The Role

To be successful in this role, your background and experience will include:

• Wealth Management / Portfolio Management / Financial Services.
• APAC and EMEA business and regulatory environments.
• Regulatory/legislative change and complex product ecosystems.
• Data, integrations, interfaces and cross-product impact assessment.
• Experience in leading AI adoption, creating reusable AI assets and coaching teams is highly desirable.
• CBAP certification
• RG 146 or relevant financial services certification is an advantage.

Work Location

• Office-based role in accordance with the organisation's current office working policy. This is not a permanent Work From Home position, and no permanent WFH exception is envisaged for this role.
