Job summary

AdaniConneX is seeking an experienced professional for Business Excellence / Operational Excellence roles in Ahmedabad. The candidate will design and deploy Excellence frameworks, standardize processes, and drive data-driven improvements across infrastructure projects.

Ideal qualifications include an engineering degree with 8–12 years in related fields, and strong exposure to EPC/data center environments. The role emphasizes governance, audits, and continuous improvement through Lean/Six Sigma

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy Business Excellence frameworks (EFQM / ABEx / Lean / Six Sigma).
• Establish governance for process standardization, audits and compliance.
• Partner with Quality, EHS, Projects and Operations to align excellence systems.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen initiatives to boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Define KPI frameworks and track performance with dashboards.
• Drive digital enablement and automation for key processes.
• Lead internal audits and readiness for external certifications/awards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Business Excellence Framework & Governance
• Design and deploy Business Excellence frameworks (aligned to ABEx / EFQM / Lean / Six Sigma principles) across the organization
• Establish enterprise-wide governance mechanisms for process standardization, audits, and compliance
• Partner with Quality, EHS, Projects, and Operations teams to ensure integrated excellence systems
• Lead structured improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve cycle times
• Identify improvement opportunities through data analytics, audits, and performance benchmarking
• Drive transformation programs aligned with strategic business goals and operational priorities
• Performance Management & KPI Governance
• Define and institutionalize KPI frameworks aligned with business goals (project delivery, cost, quality, safety, customer satisfaction)
• Track performance through dashboards and analytics; drive review mechanisms with leadership
• Enable data-driven decision-making and performance accountability across functions [Strategic...X, FY26-27 | Word]
• Process Excellence & Standardization
• Map, standardize, and optimize critical business processes across lifecycle (design, procurement, construction, commissioning, operations)
• Ensure documentation, SOPs, and best practice repositories are maintained and continuously improved
• Drive digital enablement and automation for key processes
• Audit, Compliance & Benchmarking
• Lead internal audits, maturity assessments, and readiness for external certifications/awards
• Benchmark processes and performance against global data center and infrastructure standardsDrive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for systemic improvement
• Stakeholder Management
• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership (Projects, Operations, Quality, Finance, HR)
• Act as a strategic partner to Head – Quality in driving enterprise-level initiatives
• Interface with external consultants, auditors, and excellence bodies
• Capability Building & Culture
• Build Business Excellence capability across teams through training, workshops, and certifications
• Promote culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Develop internal assessors and champions for excellence programs.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s in Engineering (preferred) with MBA / PGDM (optional)
• 8–12 years of experience in Business Excellence / Operational Excellence / Quality
• Strong exposure to infrastructure / EPC / data center / industrial projects preferred
