About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Azure Cloud & DevOps Engineer to lead enterprise cloud transformation, migration, modernization, and platform engineering initiatives on Microsoft Azure.

This is a customer-facing technical leadership role combining Azure architecture, DevOps engineering, infrastructure automation, migration consulting, project delivery, operational readiness, and team mentorship.

You will work closely with enterprise customers, architects, delivery teams, presales, security professionals, and business stakeholders to design and implement secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient Azure solutions.

Beyond hands-on engineering, you will contribute to solution architecture, technical presales, migration strategy, Azure Well-Architected Reviews, landing-zone design, governance, and capability development within Comprinno’s Cloud Engineering practice.

The role involves regular customer interaction and may require travel across India and internationally for discovery workshops, architecture reviews, migration assessments, project kick-offs, escalations, and strategic consulting engagements.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Mentorship
  • Lead and mentor a team of Azure Cloud, DevOps, and Platform Engineers.
  • Drive engineering excellence through architecture reviews, code reviews, design reviews, and technical guidance.
  • Define Azure engineering standards, DevOps practices, automation frameworks, and reusable implementation patterns.
  • Build reusable assets such as:
    • Terraform modules

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
  • 7–10 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Automation, or Cloud Consulting.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience leading technical teams or complex technical workstreams.
  • Strong customer-facing consulting, discovery, architecture, and stakeholder-management experience.
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise Azure migration, modernization, or DevOps initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Azure Well-Architected Framework.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise Azure Landing Zones.
  • Strong hands-on expertise across Azure compute, networking, storage, identity, databases, security, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Advanced proficiency in Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or equivalent Infrastructure as Code technologies.
  • Strong experience building enterprise CI/CD platforms using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or comparable tools.
  • Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, Helm, and GitOps.
  • Strong scripting and automation capabilities using PowerShell, Python, and/or Bash.
  • Strong Linux and Windows administration experience.
