Job summary

Techwave is seeking a Senior Alarm Management Engineer in India to own end-to-end ingestion, correlation and rationalization of alarm data across SCADA and protection systems. The role focuses on low-latency processing, schema design, and incident aggregation to ensure timely operator guidance.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with Kafka/Flink, AWS cloud services, and alarm-management standards (IEC/ISA). The position offers a challenging, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with real-time data processing and alarm management platforms.
• Proficient in configuring and tuning high-throughput event processing systems.
• Knowledge of alarm management standards such as IEC 61968/61970 and ISA-18.2/IEC 62682.

Responsibilities

• Own the Alarm Management ingestion, correlation and rationalization-engine implementation.
• Define canonical alarm schemas, asset/topology mapping and protection-sequence correlation rules.
• Deliver low-latency processing for SCADA, ADMS, protection relay and IED events.
• Implement flood handling, duplicate reduction, chattering detection, suppression and shelving controls.
• Lead performance tuning for more than 200 alarms per second, 3-5 seconds visibility and 30 seconds operator guidance.
