Job summary

UPS India based Technology Development Centers is seeking an experienced Application Architect to influence IT strategy and drive enterprise architecture across multiple business domains. You will shape capabilities, document enterprise reviews, and align technical solutions with business needs.

The role requires strong DevOps and Agile practices, familiarity with OpenText/TeamSite/LiveSite/Adobe AEM, and a Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field. Permanent full-time, onsite in Chennai.

Job Summary

This position influences the development and implementation of Information Technology (I.T.) strategy, initiatives, and governing policies. He/She assembles detailed reviews of the enterprise and documents capabilities and conceives approaches to aligning technical solutions with business needs. This position assists in defining the direction for projects and solution architecture. This position plans and champions the execution of broad initiatives aimed at delivering value to internal and external stakeholders. He/She leverages data, technical, and business knowledge to drive the development of capability frameworks at portfolio and enterprise levels. This position is involved throughout the project life cycle with emphasis on the initiation, feasibility, and analysis phases.

Responsibilities:

Primary Skills:

Application Architect

Architecture certification, Cloud GCP, Azure

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience in Content Management Development Projects

• Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point

• Experience with developing software solutions & web services

• Understanding of Information Security practices, database design principles, cloud base solutions, UPS.com systems & business capabilities

• Experience in DevOps and Agile

• Strong negotiation skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with OpenText, TeamSite/LiveSite and Adobe AEM - Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent in Computer Science or related field - Preferred
