Job summary

EXL Talent Acquisition Team in Gurugram (India) seeks an experienced Lead Data Analytics to guide a team of 10–15 data and visualization analysts. You will work with clients to understand priorities, design solutions, estimate effort, and ensure delivery standards.

You will mentor analysts, develop data pipelines and dashboards using SQL and Power BI, document procedures, and lead predictive modelling initiatives for the insurance client while promoting continuous learning and innovation.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in a senior analytics/lead role.
• Experience in data extraction, cleansing and manipulation of large datasets.
• Experience with predictive modelling and dashboard development.

Job description

• Lead delivery for 10-15 data & visualization analysts. Role would involve working closely with the clients to understand their strategic priorities, identifying better solution, estimating the efforts required, managing and building the team for the project, and ensuring high delivery standards.
• Data Extraction, Cleansing and Manipulation – Handle large volume of data, research for variables and work with structured/unstructured data.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and analytical models using SQL, PowerBI.
• Process Documentation – Maintain clear, concise documentation of in-line procedures to support consistency and knowledge transfer.
• Participate in various other analytics projects and work on ad-hoc requests relating to data extractions and visualizations as per the client need
• Predictive Modelling – Development of models using appropriate predictive analytics techniques
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
• Development dashboards containing tracking and monitoring KPIs

• The person will lead data analyst team for a major insurance client and will serve as the SME/Lead for analytics, working closely with various stakeholders
• Engages in technical problem solving across multiple technologies; often needs to develop new solutions A typical workday will involve collaborating with stakeholders while functioning in a Team Lead capacity
• A suitable candidate should have 7-12 years of experience in a similar role and should possess a go -getter attitude. He/ She should be able to deal with ambiguity
