The Corporate Institute is seeking a Finance Analyst to join its offshore Center of Excellence (COE) in India. The role covers hands-on accounting, finance and reporting support for client-based investment structures within an energetic, international environment.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years' experience in accounting or finance operations and a degree in finance or related field. Strong Excel, communication and organizational skills are required to drive data quality and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, shared services or audit.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day accounting activities for client entities under established procedures.
  • Maintain GL-level accounting for expenses, cash, intercompany balances and financing activities.
  • Prepare and review reconciliations, including cash, intercompany balances and loan-related movements.
  • Prepare support files for financial statements and contribute to financial analysis.
  • Prepare payment support files and coordinate payment execution with onshore teams.
  • Monitor cash positions and contribute to cash forecasting and liquidity tracking.
  • Follow up on payment status and investigate discrepancies.
  • Own and maintain finance trackers and control files.
  • Prepare periodic management reports and ad-hoc financial analyses.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency of financial data.
  • Prepare corporate documentation and internal approvals related to finance activities.
  • Liaise directly with onshore finance teams to collect, clarify and validate information.
  • Contribute actively to process improvements and documentation updates.
  • Take ownership of recurring finance processes within the assigned scope.
  • Act as a first-level point of contact for operational finance topics within the COE.
  • Support and guide junior team members when required.
  • Increasing ownership of recurring finance processes.
  • Opportunity to mentor junior members over time.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing Finance team in an international alternative investments group which has structured certain of its investments through the client project for more than 15 years.

This role offers interesting and challenging tasks from both a technical and soft skills perspective and an opportunity to work in a dynamic and international environment.

We are looking to recruit Finance Analyst to join our offshore Center of Excellence (COE) in India and support the Finance team.

The role involves hands‑on accounting, finance and reporting support for client‑based investment structures, working closely with onshore teams in a dynamic international environment.

This position is suitable for candidates with 25 years of experience, looking to deepen their exposure to international finance and progressively take ownership of recurring processes.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance Support
  • Perform day‑to‑day accounting activities for client entities under established procedures.
  • Maintain GL‑level accounting for expenses, cash, intercompany balances and financing activities.
  • Prepare and review reconciliations, including cash, intercompany balances and loan‑related movements.
  • Prepare support files for financial statements and contribute to financial analysis.
Cash & Payment process
  • Prepare payment support files and coordinate payment execution with onshore teams.
  • Monitor cash positions and contribute to cash forecasting and liquidity tracking.

Reporting, Controls & Data Quality

Profile & Skills
Education & Experience
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
  • 2-5 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, shared services or audit.
Core Skills
  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial processes.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Soft Skills & Mindset
  • Structured, reliable and well‑organized.
  • Very strong communication skills; the role requires frequent, open and structured interactions with onshore teams.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken), enabling clear and effective communication in a daily international working environment.
  • Ownership mindset and strong attention to quality.
  • Interest in automation, technology or data tools (e.g. Excel macros, scripting, process automation) is a strong plus.
