Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks a Lead AI/ML Engineer in Hyderabad to architect and deploy enterprise Generative AI solutions for HVAC operations. You will build document intelligence platforms, semantic search, and AI agents that operate across PLM data, BOMs, and schematics.

You will lead design efforts, mentor juniors, and ensure robust production deployments with scalable AI workflows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on software development and AI/ML experience.
• Experience architecting and deploying enterprise-grade Generative AI
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks and AI agents
• Familiarity with HVAC engineering data, PLM workflows, and BOM data (advantageous)

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and deploy enterprise Generative AI applications using LLMs, RAG, and multi-agent workflows.
• Build document intelligence engines, semantic search systems, and conversational assistants.

Bringing 6+ years of hands-on software development and AI/ML experience, this senior technical role architects and deploys enterprise-grade Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks, and AI agent architectures. You will drive digital transformation by building document intelligence platforms, intelligent search engines, and automated knowledge systems tailored to complex HVAC engineering data, product structures, and PLM workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and deploy enterprise Generative AI applications leveraging LLMs, RAG architectures, and multi-agent workflows.
• Build document intelligence engines, technical information extraction tools, semantic search systems, and conversational virtual assistants.
• Integrate custom AI models and LLM pipelines with cloud infrastructure, vector databases, enterprise APIs, and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
• Collaborate with global R&D, mechanical engineering teams, and business stakeholders to transform complex technical data (BOMs, schematics, engineering specs) into AI-driven automation.
• Monitor, optimize, and maintain production AI workflows, ensuring high inference speed, accurate model evaluation, and robust system security.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and establish enterprise standards for Generative AI deployment.
