Job summary

Unisys is seeking an experienced AI/ML leader to design and deploy Generative AI solutions using LLMs, embeddings, and multi-agent systems. You will collaborate with AI Engineers and operations to deliver end-to-end results that enhance user experience.

The role requires 8+ years, strong Python and back-end skills (Golang), Azure AI services, Kubernetes, and modern front-end exposure with React/Angular. This position is based in Bengaluru, India.

Qualifications

• BS/BE degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and agent-based/autonomous systems.
• Understanding of Agentic AI concepts and multi-agent collaboration.
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks and AI tooling (e.g., CrewAI).
• Strong Python programming and API/data pipeline integration.
• Back-end development in Python and/or Golang with API-driven architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and familiarity with vector databases.
• Frontend exposure with React or Angular for UI.
• Cloud-native development, containers and microservices; Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Rancher.
• Figma for rapid prototyping; Azure certifications an advantage.

• Provide targeted feedback and peer reviews for AI/ML teammates.
• Leverage AI/ML and software engineering knowledge to convert ideas into actionable recommendations.

What success looks like in this role:

• Works closely with cross-functional project team members to ensure an integrated approach to AI / ML model application. Leading the design and development of Generative AI applications leveraging LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, RAG, and multi-agent frameworks
• Works with AI Engineers, AI experts and associated operations and other technical personnel to deliver end-to-end solutions designed to enhance user experience and deliver superior results.
• Collaborates on the definition of AI / ML model development and application standards.
• Employs creative and leading-edge thinking to reconcile end user requirements with technical feasibility and business viability.
• Collaborates with model builders and recommends architectures to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
• Provides targeted feedback and peer review for AI / ML and allied team members.
• Leverages current understanding of AI / ML and software engineering to transform ideas into specific model, development and product recommendations. #LI-LS1

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BS/BE Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience. Strong hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their application in agent-based and autonomous systems. Solid understanding of Agentic AI concepts, including planning, reasoning, and multi-agent collaboration. Solid understanding and hands-on experience agent orchestration frameworks and AI tooling ecosystems (e.g., CrewAI). Proficiency with Azure AI Services, including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Doc Intelligence, Translator, etc Strong understanding of Azure OpenAI GPT models, including capabilities, limitations, prompt engineering, function calling, tool use, and structured outputs. Strong programming skills in Python, with experience integrating AI services, APIs, and data pipelines. Proficiency in back-end development using Python, and/or Golang, with a focus on API-driven architecture. Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, and familiarity with vector databases. Working knowledge of at least one front-end framework such as React or Angular for UI Hands-on experience with cloud-native development, containers, and microservices. Demonstrated experience in cluster using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm & platforms like Rancher Familiarity with UI/UX tooling such as Figma for rapid prototyping and design collaboration. Cloud certifications (Azure Developer, Azure AI Engineer, or equivalent) are an added advantage.
