Job summary

Unisys Bengaluru seeks a senior AI/ML architect to design and deploy Generative AI applications using LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and multi-agent frameworks. You will work with AI engineers and operations to deliver end-to-end solutions that enhance user experience and business outcomes.

Strong expertise in Azure OpenAI, Python, and cloud-native architectures is required, along with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and API-driven development.

Qualifications

• BS/BE degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with LLMs and agent-based systems.
• Solid understanding of Agentic AI concepts and multi-agent collaboration.
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks and AI tooling ecosystems.
• Proficiency with Azure AI Services and Azure OpenAI GPT models.
• Strong Python programming and API/data pipeline integration.
• Back-end development with Python or Golang; API-driven architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and vector databases; frontend basics (React/Angular).
• Cloud-native development, containers, microservices; Kubernetes/Docker/Rancher.
• UI/UX tooling familiarity (Figma); cloud certifications are a plus.

Works closely with cross-functional project team members to ensure an integrated approach to AI ML model application.

• Leading the design and development of Generative AI applications leveraging LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, RAG, and multi-agent frameworks

Works with AI Engineers, AI experts and associated operations and other technical personnel to deliver end-to-end solutions designed to enhance user experience and deliver superior results.
Collaborates on the definition of AI ML model development and application standards.
Employs creative and leading-edge thinking to reconcile end user requirements with technical feasibility and business viability.
Collaborates with model builders and recommends architectures to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
Provides targeted feedback and peer review for AI ML and allied team members.
Leverages current understanding of AI ML and software engineering to transform ideas into specific model, development and product recommendations.

• BS/BE Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their application in agent-based and autonomous systems.
• Solid understanding of Agentic AI concepts, including planning, reasoning, and multi-agent collaboration.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience agent orchestration frameworks and AI tooling ecosystems (e.g., CrewAI).
• Proficiency with Azure AI Services, including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Doc Intelligence, Translator, etc
• Strong understanding of Azure OpenAI GPT models, including capabilities, limitations, prompt engineering, function calling, tool use, and structured outputs.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience integrating AI services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in back-end development using Python, and/or Golang, with a focus on API-driven architecture.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, and familiarity with vector databases.
• Working knowledge of at least one front-end framework such as React or Angular for UI
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native development, containers, and microservices.
• Demonstrated experience in cluster using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm platforms like Rancher
• Familiarity with UI/UX tooling such as Figma for rapid prototyping and design collaboration.
• Cloud certifications (Azure Developer, Azure AI Engineer, or equivalent) are an added advantage.
