Job summary

Impetus Career Consultants in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on Lead AI Platform Engineer with 7+ years of software and platform engineering, strong Python and REST API skills, and hands-on GenAI delivery. You will design and operate secure, scalable enterprise AI platforms and lead architecture reviews.

The role involves building AI agents, RAG applications, deploying private LLM environments, and mentoring engineers while ensuring robust security and observability across systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software/platform engineering with Python and REST APIs.
• 2-3 years of hands-on delivery in GenAI, Agentic AI, AI Copilots, or enterprise AI platforms.
• Experience building production-grade AI agents, RAG solutions, tool/function calling, guardrails, and AI evaluation.
• Hands-on with at least one Agentic AI framework: LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, or LlamaIndex.
• Experience deploying private/local LLMs using Ollama, vLLM, Hugging Face, TGI, or similar.
• Experience with vector databases/search, Azure or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD.
• Strong production support, security, observability, architecture, and technical leadership experience.

Responsibilities
