Job description
Position Responsibilities
  • Supports with statutory compliance activities for the company in India: preparation and review of financial statements, external audit support
  • Representation of the company towards external stakeholders as Tax Authorities, Statistics and others
  • Coordinates month end, quarter and year end closing activities, supports and collaborates with internal departments and our external partners to compile accurate financial statements
  • Reconciles financial information according to Company and regulatory accounting policies and procedures
  • Analyzes and interprets complex directives, policies and regulatory requirements to provide recommendations on new and existing accounting issues
  • Reviews and controls monthly results, variances in balance sheet and income statement, ensure the accuracy of accounting entries
  • Participates as subject matter expert in key business initiatives and activities to support business growth
  • Is involved in improving the quality of processes and systems, participate in implementation of new regulations
Basic Qualifications (Required skills/experience):
  • Bachelors degree or higher/ Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is required as a basic qualification
  • Qualified CA with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of local accounting principles, including US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Experience in global financial operations and / or international financial reporting
  • Strong understanding of transfer pricing models, local cross border tax implications, intercompany transactions.
  • Proficient computer skills with MS Office, ERP and accounting systems experience
Preferred qualifications:
  • Familiar with Sarbanes Oxley Act and/or other internal control concepts
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, self-motivated and able to work individually
  • Ability to handle diverse workload and work in deadline dedicated environment
Typical Education Experience:
  • Bachelors degree or higher/Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with 10+ years of relevant work experience.
