The Hoxton Bengaluru City is seeking a Laundry Operator to join its expanding Rooms team. You will operate washing, drying, ironing and finishing equipment to keep guest linen and Heartist uniforms at high quality.

Located in Bengaluru city centre, the property emphasises guest experience and team collaboration with Housekeeping. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or commercial laundry preferred.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment, fabric care and stain removal techniques an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high standards.
• Keen eye for detail and cleanliness.

Responsabilités

• Operate washing, drying, ironing and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Wash, dry, press and fold hotel linen, guest laundry and Heartist uniforms to high quality.
• Sort laundry by fabric type, colour and washing instructions.
• Inspect linen and garments for stains, damage or repairs.
• Ensure guest laundry is handled with care and delivered on time.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area and equipment.
• Report equipment faults, shortages or maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow procedures for handling chemicals and operating equipment safely.
• Assist in maintaining stock levels and inventory.
• Work closely with Housekeeping to ensure a continuous supply of clean linen for guest rooms and public areas.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures.

The Hoxton is opening its very first neighbourhood hotel in Asia, coming to India’s Bengaluru city centre in 2026. This is a major milestone for the brand as it ventures into a new continent entirely and we are now looking for a brilliant leadership team to help bring this lifestyle brand to the market.

Located in the heart of the city centre, The Hoxton, Bengaluru City will bring its undeniable brand DNA and guest experience to India’s “Silicon Valley”, a high-tech city filled with parks and gardens and known for its vibrant cafe and pub culture - very apt for a brand that was founded in London!

The hotel will feature 149 bedrooms in a variety of The Hoxton’s well-loved room categories and the lobby will have a vibrant all-day dining restaurant & bar. Topping off the hotel we will have a rooftop pool and bar, large scale function rooms and The Apartment - The Hoxton’s unique meeting & events concept

What you’ll do…

• Operate washing, drying, ironing and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Wash, dry, press and fold hotel linen, guest laundry and Heartist uniforms to the highest quality standards.
• Sort laundry according to fabric type, colour and washing instructions to ensure proper garment care.
• Inspect linen, uniforms and guest garments for stains, damage or repairs before and after processing.
• Ensure guest laundry is handled with care and delivered accurately and on time.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area, equipment and workstations throughout your shift.
• Report any equipment faults, linen shortages or maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow hotel procedures for handling laundry chemicals and operating equipment safely.
• Support linen inventory and assist in maintaining stock levels as required.
• Work closely with the Housekeeping team to ensure a continuous supply of clean linen for guest rooms and public areas.
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures while maintaining The Hoxton's quality standards.
