Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Floor Supervisor

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join us as a Floor Supervisor at our manufacturing unit in Ausa, Latur. This role requires a professional who can manage production operations, workforce, and reporting with a focus on efficiency, safety, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise inward and outward movement of materials.
  • Handle data entry and maintain accurate production records.
  • Monitor and improve operational efficiency on the shop floor.
  • Generate and present shift-wise/daily/weekly production reports to management.
  • Supervise and allocate workforce (operators and labor) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive maintenance and reduce machine downtime.
  • Oversee inventory control – tracking raw material usage and finished goods stock.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with company/client specifications.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, enforce safety rules, and ensure PPE usage.
  • Train and guide operators/labor on process improvements and machine handling.
  • Communicate production progress, issues, and resource needs to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2–4 years of experience in production/floor supervision.
  • Knowledge of production processes, machinery, and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel & reporting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
